These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Monyvo website, the Monyvo mobile application, and all related tools and content (collectively, the “Services”). Monyvo is operated by OO Research LLC (“OO Research”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in the United States, together with its owners, officers, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates (collectively, “Monyvo”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Monyvo provides a set of free and paid tools to help business owners understand and run their business. The Services include:
Not every feature described in these Terms is available on every plan, in every country, or on every platform. Current plans, features, and limits are described on the Plans page, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and may change from time to time without requiring a change to these Terms. The free plan may display advertising, currently served by Google AdMob; paid plans do not.
Monyvo is an AI-native company. AI plays a significant role in how we build and operate the Services — including generating and drafting content (such as much of the Business Intelligence Library and the explanatory text alongside the Calculators), customer-facing product features (such as AI-assisted data capture, and, on some plans, customer segmentation and forecasting, in the app), and parts of our own internal operations. In practical terms, this means a substantial share of what you read, calculate, or interact with across the Services is produced or assisted by AI systems, at a volume no equivalent human-only team could match.
We maintain human-in-the-loop oversight across our systems. Humans design, train, test, and monitor the AI we use, set the guardrails it operates within, and retain the ability to review, correct, or shut down any system that isn't performing as intended. This does not mean a person manually reviews every individual output before you see it — at the volume Monyvo operates, that isn't how most AI-assisted content and features work — but it does mean every AI system we run is built, accountable to, and ultimately overseen by people, with a way for you to flag anything that looks wrong (see Section 19, Contact).
This section should be read together with Section 7.4 (AI Features) and Section 9 (No Professional Advice; No Guaranteed Outcomes). AI-assisted does not mean error-free, and the disclaimers in these Terms apply fully to AI-generated and AI-assisted content, calculations, and features, whether produced by the app, the website, or the Business Intelligence Library.
The Services are intended for business owners and are not directed to, and should not be used by, anyone under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to bind the business on whose behalf you are using the Services, if applicable.
Some parts of the Services — currently, the Monyvo app — require you to create an account. You are responsible for:
One Monyvo account and subscription covers a single business. Where a plan allows multiple staff members, the business owner is responsible for the conduct of every staff member added to the account, and for removing staff who should no longer have access.
We may suspend or terminate an account that provides false information, is used to violate these Terms, or is inactive for an extended period, subject to Section 16 (Termination).
Monyvo offers a free plan and one or more paid plans, each with different features and limits, described in full and kept current on the Plans page. Our free plan has no time limit; it is not a trial and does not require payment information to use.
Paid plans are billed through the Google Play Store as an in-app subscription, processed through Google Play Billing and managed on our behalf using RevenueCat. We do not process payments or store payment card information on the Monyvo website. By subscribing, you also agree to Google Play's own terms of sale and billing policies. Some plans — for larger organizations with needs outside our standard plans — are priced and billed individually under a separate agreement.
You may cancel a subscription at any time through the Google Play Store (Settings → Billing in the app, or directly in Play Store subscription management). Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. Refund requests are handled by Google Play under its own refund policies; Monyvo does not directly process refunds for Play Store purchases. That said, we may, at our discretion, consider refund requests made through our Contact page on a case-by-case basis. This discretionary review is not a guarantee of any refund, and does not create an obligation for us to grant one.
If you downgrade or cancel a paid plan, your existing records — including quotes, recurring commitments, order notes, checklists, attachments, and expense splits — remain intact and visible. Depending on your new plan, you may not be able to create new records of certain kinds, or edit certain existing ones, until you upgrade again. You can export your full business data as spreadsheets at any time, on any plan, including the free plan.
Free and paid plans are subject to usage limits described on the Plans page (for example, limits on the number of customers or the volume of AI-assisted data capture). These limits may change from time to time; material reductions to limits you're actively relying on will be communicated in the app or on the Plans page.
The Calculators and the Free Invoice Generator are provided at no cost, do not require an account, and run in your browser. For the Free Invoice Generator specifically: invoices you create are generated and downloaded (as PDF or image) directly in your browser, and we do not store the invoice data you enter. Because nothing is retained on our end, you are solely responsible for saving your own copy of anything you create — we cannot recover it for you.
The Calculators and Free Invoice Generator are provided for general informational and convenience purposes. While we build and test them carefully, we do not guarantee that any calculation, total, or generated document is free of error, complete, or suitable for your specific tax, legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements. Invoice formatting, tax fields, and numbering requirements vary by country and by business type — it is your responsibility to confirm that any invoice you generate meets the legal requirements that apply to your business before you send it to a customer or rely on it for tax purposes.
You own the business data you enter into the Monyvo app — your customers, orders, expenses, invoices, and related records (“Your Data”). We do not claim ownership of Your Data.
You grant Monyvo a limited license to host, store, process, and display Your Data solely to provide and improve the Services — for example, to generate your dashboard, insights, invoices, and AI-assisted features. This license ends when you delete Your Data or close your account, except as described in our Privacy Policy regarding backup and legal retention.
You can export Your Data as spreadsheets at any time, on any plan. We encourage you to keep your own backups.
Certain features — including AI-assisted data capture (which uses Google's Gemini API, as described in our Privacy Policy), and, on some plans, customer segmentation and forecasting — use automated processing to interpret input or surface patterns in Your Data. These features are decision-support tools, not guarantees. AI-generated captures can misread or misinterpret what you entered, and AI-generated insights, segments, and forecasts are estimates based on historical data, not predictions we stand behind. Review AI-generated entries before relying on them, particularly for anything financial. See also Section 2 (Monyvo's Use of AI).
Monyvo publishes articles, guides, and other content — including the Business Intelligence Library and the explanatory content accompanying the Calculators — intended to help you understand your business generally. Nothing in this content constitutes business, financial, tax, legal, or professional advice, and none of it should be relied upon as such. Every business is different. Before making a business or financial decision, consult a qualified accountant, financial advisor, attorney, or other professional who can advise you based on your specific circumstances.
Monyvo — across the Business Health Check, the app, the Calculators, the Free Invoice Generator, and the Business Intelligence Library — is intended to help you understand and organize your business. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or licensed financial advice, and any output, report, insight, or recommendation should be considered alongside your own judgment and, where appropriate, a qualified professional. We do not guarantee any specific business result, including profitability, growth, tax compliance, or the accuracy of any forecast.
Your Business Health Report, and any insight generated by the app, is only as accurate as the information you provide. Please answer honestly and enter accurate data to get the most useful results.

We may suspend or terminate access for violating this section, consistent with Section 16.
The Services — including the Monyvo name and logo, the app, the website, the Calculators, the Free Invoice Generator's templates and design, and the Business Intelligence Library content — are owned by Monyvo or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your own business purposes, subject to these Terms. This license does not extend to reproducing our content or tools elsewhere, or to any use not expressly permitted here.
You retain ownership of Your Data (Section 7) and of any invoice, quote, or document you generate using the Services for your own business.
The Services rely on and link to third-party providers, including Google Play (billing and app distribution), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google AdMob (advertising within the free version of the app), Google's Gemini API (AI-assisted data capture), and Firebase/Google Cloud Platform (infrastructure), as described in our Privacy Policy. The website and app may also link to other third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of any third-party service, and your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NEITHER MONYVO NOR ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY CALCULATION, REPORT, INVOICE, OR AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONYVO, TOGETHER WITH ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, PARTNERS, AND AFFILIATES, WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES — INCLUDING RELIANCE ON A BUSINESS HEALTH REPORT, A CALCULATOR RESULT, A GENERATED INVOICE, AN AI-GENERATED INSIGHT, OR CONTENT IN THE BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE LIBRARY — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE FULLY EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF MONYVO AND THE PARTIES LISTED ABOVE TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. FOR THE WEBSITE, THE FREE FEATURES OF THE APP, THE CALCULATORS, THE FREE INVOICE GENERATOR, AND THE BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE LIBRARY, WHICH ARE PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE, THIS MEANS OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU IS ZERO.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Monyvo, together with its owners, officers, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates, from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services in violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your violation of any third party's rights — including, for example, a dispute with your customer over an invoice you generated using the Services.
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Services or a particular feature, with notice where reasonably practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 11, 13, 14, and 15) will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms as Monyvo grows — for example, to reflect a new feature, plan, or legal requirement. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and for material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law (such as via email or an in-app notice). Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
